This the kinda thing that frustrates me with the current state of the game. This is an idea I’ve personally suggested for awhile now. Hell if they really wanted to they could make this concept it’s entirely own new tier for the crew that maybe costs like an extra $3-$5 a month and you get all these extra perks I understand exclusivity is a thing but I don’t really see that many people in the big 2026 getting mad they brought back old battle passes. If exclusivity is that big of a deal then just give all OG pass holders an ‘OG’ style like they did with Renagade and Aerial. I get Fortnite and Epic need to ‘pay the bills’ but wouldn’t it make more sense find ways of giving players a reason to spend more money rather than just arbitrarily raising the prices of everything and making everyone frustrated. I’m pretty confident if you made an extra crew tier that was slightly more expensive but you got access to old battle passes and maybe a free skin token or something most people that are a part of the crew already would immediately jump onto this more expensive version anyways. Especially if they are new players who never got to try the older skins.

Former Epic developer pitches how they would improve #Fortnite Crew 👑 @AlexMuirQA, a senior QA tester on Festival who was laid off by Epic last month, made a few posts and comments today discussing Fortnite Crew and some of the changes to the subscription that he'd personally suggested. Apparently, there have been a lot of ideas and conversations about how to make the service more valuable. Muir's pitch was to give subscribers a "token" for each month they subscribed to the service. These tokens could be spent on a rotating Shop that would include old Battle Pass Outfits and other items. Muir said that the idea didn't move up the chain for various reasons, including exclusivity concerns. 💭 How would you improve Fortnite Crew?

Me personally I would say if Disney managed to find a guy who fundamentally understands what the players want and was able to still continue bringing in collabs from other competing companies like DC, Warner bros, Netflix etc Then I’d say go for it Yea we might get a few more collab seasons than before But at least with Disney you know them saying ‘we need to pay the bills’ is BS 100% My only concern would be how money hungry they get if they did things like revert vbucks and understood what the community wants then I think they’d win over a fair amount of players But at the end of the day this is Disney we’re talking about so you’d have to have a pretty good chunk of wishful thinking.
