We’re outraged that AI “hallucinates.” But that’s the wrong word. The right word is confabulate — filling gaps with plausible fiction, presented as fact. No intent to deceive. The most sophisticated confabulation machine ever built is reading this right now 🤣🤣🤣

Every few weeks someone says: “Isn’t every AI product just a light wrapper around ChatGPT?” Sure. AWS is just a light wrapper around some computers. A restaurant is just a light wrapper around ingredients. If you zoom out far enough, everything is “just a wrapper.”

I'm Boris and I created Claude Code. Lots of people have asked how I use Claude Code, so I wanted to show off my setup a bit. My setup might be surprisingly vanilla! Claude Code works great out of the box, so I personally don't customize it much. There is no one correct way to use Claude Code: we intentionally build it in a way that you can use it, customize it, and hack it however you like. Each person on the Claude Code team uses it very differently. So, here goes.

"I don’t believe in hierarchical relationships. I don’t want to be above anybody, and I don’t want to be below anybody. If I can’t treat someone like a peer and if they can’t treat me like peer, I just don’t want to interact with them." @naval

The only ones not to be disrupted by AI. I’ve been thinking about this quite a bit, and I think the following professions will not be displaced by AI; every other profession will be impacted to displaced: -Trades* -Leaders -Teachers -Politicians -Entrepreneurs -Performance arts -High-touch healthcare -High-end personal services** -Event / community organizers -Craftsmen and innovative artists -Cutting-edge inventors, scientists Version 1.0: I will certainly update this in future. *Wages likely to drop due to an influx of workers. **many roles fit here: concierge, therapists, beauty, fitness coaches, account reps, wealth managers, wait staff, etc.

This is what an AI-first interface actually looks like. The grid lets users see each step the AI is taking, allowing “edits” to the AI's “thought process".

Today we're excited to introduce Devin, the first AI software engineer. Devin is the new state-of-the-art on the SWE-Bench coding benchmark, has successfully passed practical engineering interviews from leading AI companies, and has even completed real jobs on Upwork. Devin is an autonomous agent that solves engineering tasks through the use of its own shell, code editor, and web browser. When evaluated on the SWE-Bench benchmark, which asks an AI to resolve GitHub issues found in real-world open-source projects, Devin correctly resolves 13.86% of the issues unassisted, far exceeding the previous state-of-the-art model performance of 1.96% unassisted and 4.80% assisted. Check out what Devin can do in the thread below.

The key to making generative AI work in your enterprise is being able to connect LLMs with all your enterprise data in a way that’s scalable, secure, and reflects the breadth and depth of your company’s knowledge. @glean's state-of-the-art retrieval engine uniquely positions Glean to help CIOs quickly and securely bring responsible AI to the enterprise. We at @lightspeedvp have been long-time believers in @jainarvind's vision for Glean and are excited to lead their $200 million Series D round today with @kleinerperkins, after co-leading the company’s Series A round in 2019 and participating in their Series B and C rounds in 2021 and 2022. lsvp.com/stories/glean-…

Five years ago, we set out to build @Glean with the simple goal of helping people find the answers they need to do their best work. Today, we're excited to share that we’ve raised over $200M at a $2.2B valuation led by @kleinerperkins and @lightspeedvp! bit.ly/3wwIah8

I'm 18. I’m obsessed with learning how to learn. So, I spent 200+ hours studying how geniuses, prodigies, and high performers master their disciplines. Here's what I found on how to master anything faster:
