Dear Sir/Ma’am, The international postal article bearing Tracking No.LP129273581AU was examined by Customs on arrival at Delhi Foreign Post Office. During examination, the contents of the parcel were found to be objectionable/ obscene in nature. The import of such items is also covered under the category of prohibited goods for import through post in terms of CBEC Notification No. 01/1964-Customs dated 18.01.1964 and also covered under the provisions of Section 294 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. Hence, Import of such material is not permissible under the law in force.
