@Oneirio but sometimes I can see a desire in him to just be a kid. So I don’t like overly dramatic or overly cheerful portrayals of him. btw thank you for your arts, they mean a lot to me.

@Oneirio my headcannon is that he's cheerful and a bit goofy, but he's pulled down by a deep sense of loss. He understands the need to be kinda “adult and responsible” (guess he never had a childhood and was supposedly originally a dog, if you believe Jessie),

you can sorta see that gallagher is portrayed differently in the en fandom vs the jp/cv/kr fandom. he's a lot more jovial in en works, most likely because he's less deadpan in the en dub. i kinda like both interpretations of him though
