Just because something isn't legally reprehensible doesn't mean it's morally good‼️ Yeah, you can't copyright an artstyle, but it doesn't mean taking someone's entire style isn't rude‼️ Do you want to be compared as the "off-brand artist" your entire life or be your own person?

How authors don’t get paid enough? What are the % difference does it make because of “illegal readers” don’t pay?🤔

@__eyew @Kaorumitsurugi Same, I wish Korean authors would explore other ways to make money too, like fundraising, patreon or taking commissions. It must suck to depend on and devote to greedy companies that frankly don’t care about you.

In an ideal world Korea and China would have their own comic and animation industries that can compete with Japan’s and breed innovation between all of them but what actually happens is that they mostly produce slop that feeds off of Japan’s industries and drags all of them down

Again, we know it’s not author’s decision w demands but…come on. Their publisher companies are shit (misogyny, lack of management), hasn’t changed

@__eyew @Kaorumitsurugi Manga thrive so well in other countries thanks to better publishing. They get picked up quickly based on demands, get translated and sold at affordable price for everyone to enjoy. The manhwa publishers need to leave their online bubble and do better.

@baohasbadtakes @Kaorumitsurugi All manhwa websites aren’t even user friendly for global audiences (hence with the authors constantly going after illegal sites, even so far being racially targeting one). While I understand financial issues and overload of pressure, but publication needs to step up

@Kaorumitsurugi It’s crazy when you learn that manhwa creators have to constantly produce episodes in conditions that rivals a sweatshop. People can’t get creative due to exhaustion or fear of losing popularity. The online format doesn’t help because it limits their sales without physical copies

Im an artist. I really love this game and I want to make more fanarts. Sometimes designs are hard to draw: quality or angles are bad. I cannot afford artbook, though I really want to draw more and share game with others. Is that really bad If I just want good reference?
