@OfTheTaco If the argument is “this makes the game affordable” why not reprint the cards in NF version? Like the previous tunic and cnc reprints? Lowers price, collectibility still retains some value. This truly is a slap in the face.

@TCG_TALK From that point of view, illusionist class as a whole could be seen as a mistake. Having permanents that accrue value beyond the intellect you’re given puts you at a huge advantage if you’re able to keep it. Nonetheless I think ward was a better way of balancing board state (…)

@TCG_TALK Fatigue always was a viable strategy with oldhim and or assassin, both achieving it in different ways. Cyb is just a third one

Not "hating" but strongly disagree with this post. It is still astonishing to me how hated CYB is by the community at large. James' argument that control nullifies the other deck's threats is being glossed over here, and there are only so many ways you can nullify damage.
