I grew up in Cirencester nr the Bhurst estate. Never knew it was built on proceeds of slavery. Your work inspires me to take action in Ciren.

Once I was even catcalled by some men driving a well-known-company van! This happens to womxn all the time. It makes you feel like s--t and I expect it is much worse for womxn of colour, trans womxn, and disabled womxn.

When I was walking alone at 2 am (I shouldn't have been, but I was) some men swerved their car across the rd towards me shouting. Years later I heard a girl was followed on the same rd. Leafy suburban North Ox.

Last ~3 months in unnecessary male behaviour on the street. It's a stomach-sinking feeling of shame. 1. man stops his (unnecessarily speedy-looking) car for me, motions me to cross rd, won't carry on unless I cross, loudly revs engine at me while I cross in front of him
