Twitter feminists, especially the Nigerian, are deeply misogynistic without realizing it.
You cannot claim to be pro-woman while using humiliation, mobilization of hate, ridicule, and social punishment to silence women who do not mirror your views or come in agreement with a man opinion. Those are not liberatory tactics,they are the very tactics oppressive systems have always used against women.
if your way of "refuting" another woman is not honest engagement but a snarky rhetorical post designed to send contempt and harassment in her direction, then this was never about women's dignity. it's about ideological control. it is about punishing deviation. It is about deciding that women deserve respect only when they are ideologically obedient to you.
You do not believe women are full moral agents if your respect for them disappears the second they think differently than you. you do not believe in women's dignity if you treat dissenting women as targets to discipline rather than persons to reason with.
some of you have simply recreated the same coercive social order you claim to oppose.

SENATE INVESTIGATES NORTH WEST DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION The Senate Committee on Regional Development has raised eyebrows over spending at the North West Development Commission. Lawmakers allege that nearly 79 percent of N1.19 billion spent by the commission, about N943 million, went to board allowances. They also queried why NWDC is the only regional commission without executive directors and employees since it was inaugurated in February 2025. The oversighting ministry, the board and managing Director explained to the committee some problems affecting operations. The committee however insists that urgent action is needed for the commission to deliver on development and security in the North West.

Kano should shut down that so-called “brotel” camouflaged as a university. It has become nothing more than a prostitution hub. There is nothing about it that reflects the standards of a true university, not the students, not the lecturers, not the environment, not the quality of its graduates, not its processes, nor its relationship with the surrounding community. It’s one scandal too many. The NUC should immediately revoke the institution’s licence. Let them remain in Maradi. Commonwealth territory has institutions with standards rooted in the British culture of excellence, in both character & learning.
