A lot of you have been asking me Where have I been? Am I okay? Am I still playing Warzone? Do I still stream? This is going to be a long message, but I am going to put a short paragraph at the bottom for a lil TLDR Where have I been Upon coming back home from Esports World Cup I came to a moment where I had quite literally completed a huge dream in gaming and I was plagued with the question: do i still want to game for a living? after one of the best moments in my career I came home feeling lost, hopeless and confused. As the months continued financially things became harder and harder until there came a point where I was making little to no money off of anything and yet still working all day. On the day of the Black Ops 7 launch-- which is typically the most exciting time of the year for me-- I found myself not playing the game and sitting at a coffee shop asking myself what the heck is going on with me? Not soon after, there came a day where I felt God speak to my heart essentially telling me that if my heart is not in gaming, I should not continue. I interviewed for a great job, got hired within 2 weeks, and I start tomorrow. Will I continue to stream Ill be honest, I have no idea. I love Twitch, I love streaming, I love competing and I love you guys. However, I am so unbelievably burnt out it is ridiculous. One thing I can say, if I do stream its going to be because I love it and want to connect with you guys. Do I still play Warzone? I haven't really touched Warzone since the launch of the game and hadn't played in a month before that. As of right now I am taking a break but still love the game and the community. Final Words If you read all of this, thank you and I love you. I'm not fully gone but don't know if ill return fully either. They say "if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life" but money complicates things, and the stress of not having enough can choke the life of your dream if you let it. tldr: I got a job--and after gaming for 6+ years full time and 10+ years making money off it--gaming is now on the backburner as I explore this new time in my life.
