@DustinT_NBA Cavs had a lot more problems this series than how Don was able to lead them defensively.

@_amarzz Not saying the stuff from the video is directly his fault but it’s his team and his culture. He got pissed whenever he was held accountable defensively in Utah. Now he is the dude in Cleveland and defense and hustle are optional. Culture.

@_amarzz Leaders lead from the front, they don’t have to be hidden in the corner assigned to the slowest player on the court. He was food whenever his man brought him to Brunson with a screen.

@DustinT_NBA Mitchell is a better playmaker than he actually thinks. Numerous times in Utah and the PG position he was great. Cavs have him in a catch and shoot position since Harden came. Took him out of his element.

@_amarzz He had that issue in Utah as well surrounded by shooters. His drives to the rim are so dependent on timing combo moves that he can’t drive and kick. Also can’t make an entry pass or a lob. His ability to put pressure on the rim should make creating easier but that’s not the case.

It’s all a performance. Dude isn’t playing hard either. He missed his calling in politics.

@_amarzz Well it’s a lot easier to defend dudes that will be accountants instead of NBA stars. He’s never had the vision or skill to create. He’d be better in a secondary scorer C&S role. It’s clear he can’t handle the offensive load alone.

@DustinT_NBA I mean coming out of college he was known for his defense. What happened? It’s an effort thing. Too much is being asked for him on offense, and being a small guard he has to go full force in order to create. That’s why some of these taller stars make it look effortless.

@_amarzz That sums him up pretty well. Idk if it’s an attention span thing or a desire thing. When he wants to play defense he’s great. But that happens about 4 plays a game. Cracks me up when he’s pointing around to direct others on defense and gets beat back door at the same time.

Cavs win this series with Garland and I’ll stand by that 100%. Maybe not the last two series but definitely this ones.
