Nigeria is not so hard to fix, we just need to start having consequences for actual crimes and everything other thing will fall in place

I have been in 0.00 chances situations where I had no hope…I looked up to God, and He came through for me. Nobody can make me believe He doesn’t exist.

As long as a man is not broke, he will definitely spend on a woman he is with, unless he knows she doesn’t deserve it. Men are naturally givers.

If guys in your inner circle are too scared to be honest with you when you mess up, because they fear you might cut off the benefits they get, you’re setting yourself up for failure

Never ever judge people’s decisions in situations you’ve never been in. Keep your judgment to yourself until it’s your turn to experience what they went through.

A girl who is almost 33 complained to me about not having a serious boyfriend. She said they just want to eat and move on, and none are ready to commit. I sincerely know why, though I don’t know how to tell her that: “Chinyere, you too like money” 😭 🫵

Minimize your kindness. This generation has no memory of the good things you do; your faults and mistakes are what they see.

“Be grateful you have a job.” People say this like the job is doing you a favour… not like you’re exchanging your time, energy, and sanity for it. Grateful for what exactly?

The church has convinced an entire generation that suffering is spiritual. That’s why we pray about things we should be fixing.

@UnkleAyo If the mindset is rewired, the slavery ends. Do you think they want you to be free? They've infiltrated institutions you hold in high regard, and now dictate the modus operandi of these institutions. The best form of escape is simple: Think for youself.

Glad I left Nigeria. I was applying for roles that I was under qualified for, just to get a job but I kept getting rejected because of age. Then Nigeria happened to me in a hard way and I left. From Warehouse to Support Worker to IT Support and now a Cyber Security Analyst. During my IT Support stint with the NHS, I worked with people above 50yrs old with sharp minds and they taught me things. During my support worker days, the cleaner in the place I worked was driving a car with the registration number for that year. How many cleaners in Nigeria have the resources to buy such even if its on credit? How many 50+ in Nigeria can get a decent entry level roles such as IT Support? I had a goal before leaving Nigeria and achieving those goals got me to where I am today. If you have the opportunity to leave Nigeria today LEAVE!!!! but do not stop growing when you reach outside of Nigeria. DO NOT get stuck in the comfort zone of Warehousing, Health Care, IT etc.... even if its what you want to do....never stop growing.

We tell young people to follow their passion. Then create an economy where passion cannot pay rent. Then blame them for being confused.
