If you could add one feature to C# from another language, what would that be?

@nickchapsas It may be useful to check this one out, developed for Kotlin + intelliJ #review-our-intellij-plugin" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">github.com/Trendyol/kedia….. it may serve as inspiration

I need to write a Rider plugin that navigates to the corresponding MediatR handler when I try to navigate to the definition of the Handle method. Could that be an analyser?🤔

Toda vez que a discussão chega em "fazer no frontend ou no backend?" a resposta na maioria das vezes (senão sempre) será fazer no backend. Por que? Porque sim! Fonte: tireidocu

@UpdateCovid @mauriciojr Fully functional, yes.. proven to reduce the number of severe illness or death. It doesn't necessarily mean that it will be enough to protect everyone who decided to take it, but if everyone decided to take it, certainly a lot lives would be saved

808 people died of COVID-19 yesterday in the US, a disease that has a fully functional vaccine that is free all over the country. We’re a week away from seeing 1000 deaths a day, this was preventable.

@codeopinion Another option is spring integration, which is complex and full of annotations 😥

@codeopinion I already looked really hard several times for it, and something that is equivalent to NServiceBus/MassTransit in terms of features simply does not exist. The closest I could find was Vert.x and Axon framework, but transport support is limited

Does anyone know what the JVM world's equivalent to NServiceBus/MassTransit/Brighter messaging libraries is?

#Git tips: - Always commit to main, branches are for the weak. - push force always. Your work is more important than other peoples work. - commit all files, ignoring files means you lose data. - If all else fails, create a new repo and forget the last one exists. #protips #joke

@codeopinion Optional is kinda nicely implemented for value types, aka Nullable<T>, in which case I feel it's ok to return null

I throw up a bit every time I see a method return null. I don't care if it's using nullable reference types, it's still terrible.

@toddanglin It's about Google Cloud. Their tooling story for GCP is weak. Apple has XCode for their platforms, Microsoft has VS and VSCode for Azure. AWS dominates the market, so they are not concerned... yet. I think it would be a smart move.

@johnstaveley @jetbrains @VisualStudio Yeah! some of them are missing.. I used to be addicted to Ctrl + R + G (clean up/sort usings), but in rider it does something else...the closest I could get is to apply some styling with Ctrl + E + F

2 weeks of using @JetBrains Rider over @VisualStudio and I can honestly say I just seem to have exchanged one set of problems for another. At least it works though, unlike @VisualStudio. I seem to spend a lot of time googling how to do stuff in Rider because it isn't friggin

@codeopinion If an aggregate's state is mutable, I see it as a saga, in fact, I usually add a method "RequestTimeout" when I need temporal business logic within my aggregate
