I saw a number of people get confused on "where" things are during the tutorial, so now the phone has these little videos showing where to go.

Parfait now gets sleepy after you've done all the main things for the day(compete, excursion, forest, etc) to remind the player to go to bed. You can ignore it though.

the amount of people that say "nintendo is going to sue you" about my game is hilarious. cus like one, what would they sue me for? and two, what does Nintendo have to do with chao garden??😂

@_austo I know it's a weird feature to ask for, bur would you be able to add temporary diving? Like if you press W/forward while on the jetski, you go underwater for a small time? It's just a cool mechanic from waverace 64 that I haven't seen in another game ever since and it's cool :3

my chao garden spiritual successor doesn't have full on platforming levels, but there is a jet ski and some platforming sections so yeah

for preservation purposes, I put up the Bobo Bay Alpha from 2024, the Summer Demo from 2025, and the recent Next Fest Demo on itch.io. At some point before April 29th, I'll be taking down the Steam demo, but wanted the builds to live online somewhere still.

Bobo Bay - an indie game inspired by Sonic Adventure 2's Chao Gardens - has preserved all its previous demos + early builds publicly online. Indie game preservation is something I vouch for a lot, and lost demos hurts my soul - great to see! newfuturekids.itch.io
