Now after 3y, Maxis upgraded my wifi speed w/o consent so I’m paying 10 ringgit extra for a couple months now
at this point, i have to switch fibre companies every couple years kot

Report to them. Ask them to investigate, get the report number & set clear expectation if you dont receive any reply & resolution within 5days, you will raise that matter to MCMC.
Then follow up after 5 days.
Klu mmg xde changes or solution, report terus.
Dorg akan menggelupor bila dapat notification from MCMC.

@zaheiry_ my case, the first 24 month dah habis, diorang upgrade me to 800mbps, but now my net bill naik 10 ringgit, and it’s not rebate related sebab i still get the same 10 ringgit rebate with the new speed pun. But yang i paling geram is the fact sukahati je tukar contract

Maxis attempted to upgrade my package dgn mcm2 offer. Kata nk kene tukar modem, modem dh outdated, no more 100mbps available, harga akana naik sikit & recontract.
I rejected & block their customer serv num continously. I mmg refuse any changes in my bills or contract. Xkira lah company dorg nk ubah price or package structure apa pun. I mmg reject all calls.
Dorg siap kata, "we no longer offer 100mbps. Lowest now is 300mpbs"
I told them, whatever you do, i don't give a fuck. I don't need 300mbps & i dont need changes in the price package. It's either you give me 300mbps for free without recontract, or i will just remain as it is n reject all your calls..
End up, dorg give up! Hahaha
I managed to maintain my current speed & price.
The only way utk elak terperangkap dlm sebarang offer, just don't answer their calls.
Walaupun dorg kata ada offer itu ini, it will always involving re-pricing & recontract. Don't fall into their traps!
