I wonder if Minato reminded Tsunade of Dan in the same way Naruto reminded her of Nawaki. Not romantically, just the fact that Minato has Dan's face, gentle demeanor and dream of becoming Hokage. Even if they were not close, I believe his death must have hurt her.

@JakeSmi04842614 I wonder too! Back then people thought Minato was Tsuande and Jiraiya's kid (because he was blond and had Jiraiya's hair). That changed to Tsunade and Dan when Dan was introduced and he was basically Minato with a wig lol Tsunade as Minato's mom as always been a popular theory!
