@Yrrepmot After my big crash to severe my insomnia was i would fall asleep and within 20 min jolt awake and then be wide awake w palpiations. I had to take benadryl, flexeril or something to sleep every night and barely helped. Unless im in bad pem or way too active before bed its better

My heart is now doing weird things as I fall asleep at night which causes these arousals and chest pains. I’m also getting this weird tachycardia if I stretch out or change positions like from supine to prone.. and these big vasodilations which cause me to feel my pulse in odd places… tonight this happened as I was drifting in and out of sleep and I finally woke up because it was scaring me and both my arms were numb. This lasted for 40 minutes or so. Now I’m wide awake but before was extremely tired. Something is seriously messed up with my brain. 😵‍💫 No point speaking to a doctor as they will do ECG and say everything is normal.. What a fucking horrible disease. 😞

It's heartbreaking. Truly. Last night, I had an appointment with the French specialist in dysautonomia, a very kind neurologist, very well-known in her field. I had a video call with her, and she had never seen anyone so severely disabled in her 40-year career, except, of course, in the terminal phase of a neurological disease. She immediately spoke to me about deconditioning, then depression, and that if I wasn't doing enough, it was normal that I wouldn't get better. It hurts to hear. The worst part is that she's less skeptical than all her colleagues, as she told me, because she believes in immunological changes after a virus in some people... but nothing to do with neuroscience for her, because there are no biomarkers. Afterwards, she was kind and listened, which is something. But France is beyond behind; it's criminal. No hospital staff or specialists are aware of the existence of our illness. I told her about @amaticahealth's RNA, and according to her, it's useless, meaningless. France disgusts me... zero research, zero intellectual curiosity.
