@tarrance_rose19 @ZaneSmith he just practiced 23rd while starting 29th tomorrow and he’s spending his time on twitter instead of being in the simulator, no wonder hocevar runs laps around that loser

Asked about a "Days of Thunder" sequel, @NASCAR CEO Steve O'Donnell said: "I will say, there is a lot of momentum — and I remain cautiously optimistic that we’re going to see some really cool stuff coming in the future in that area."

hocevar is currently 9th in points while zane smith is 23rd yapping on podcasts instead of getting in the simulator and working on his craft. There’s levels to this you @ZaneSmith

If people wanna criticize hocevar driving go right ahead. Like I said, I like his aggressiveness he just needs to control it better. But its people slamming his character. Its like people want him to fall in line with the other driver's. We need someone to stick out in this sport

Good morning Corey, Longtime fan, first time complainer. Life lesson for you… For years and years and years we’ve heard you complain about how good you could be with the right opportunity, how disadvantaged your career has been. Nevermind the fact that your father was named one of NASCAR’s 75 greatest drivers. Nevermind that that alone made you extraordinarily advantaged in your pursuit of a dream MANY of us had. A dream you actually were able to live for a very long time. While living that dream you incessantly complained about how it wasn’t possible for the 32 or 7 to run any better than it did. And I agreed. Then you get in the 9 and a debuting Carson Hocevar out ran you in your car. Then he gets in the 77 and outruns you consistently enough to get you fired. Then instead of going to the Truck Series, you go run part time for Rick Ware and go out of your way to convince folks that that was a better option because nobody gives a shit about the Truck Series. Then you start whining that nobody cares about the truck series and the purses are too small. You also ignore the fact that Ram is sending big money to your team and even if they weren’t, Matt Kaulig is worth $200 million. Also ignored is you’re only in that truck because Daniel Dye was removed for a reason that you know was BS, a situation similar to one you’ve gone through yourself. I’ll reiterate, blue collar fans don’t give a shit about the financial misfortune of the son of a NASCAR champion, who has been paid quite well for a long time. Your popularity has continued to create opportunities. Keep the poor ol pitiful me attitude and people will have enough. At that point you’ll probably get replaced on TV too. Again, I pull for you. Quit bitching.
Corey LaJoie@CoreyLaJoie

Good morning Pete. Many incorrect assumptions here. My point being the purse being skewed to 7% for trucks when the cost to compete is closer to 50-60%. Here’s a Motorsports financial lesson. 1. Drivers don’t see owner percentages of purse breakdown, Cup or Truck. Teams get purse and sponsorship $$$, then pay based on each driver’s contract (if they even get paid at all outside of Sunday.) 2. It’s not free to burn tires and fuel. 3. I’d say ~85% of both Truck and O’Reilly fields are paying drivers just so the teams can stay in business.
