Have you ever wanted to build and mine your own Bitcoin blocks?! 😈 I developed a platform that lets you build and solo-mine your own blocks — private pools on custom subdomains, custom block templates per pool, and 100% of the block rewards. In this 12-minute demo I walk through: • custom pool creation • Stratum v1 job construction • extranonce1/2 architecture • version mask tuning • version + nTime rolling • coinbase construction + Merkle branches • worker stats (username.worker) • pool difficulty vs network difficulty • clean jobs, prevhash, and job handling • best-share difficulty + share validation • block header + template customization • solving a real Testnet3 block live 👀 • verifying the block on @mempool Try the Public BETA free: BlockBuilder.app

@VoskCoin You need bus level surge protection dude… it’s cheaper than the miners and the container

Lightning struck the mining farm, causing damage and revealing vulnerabilities. Prioritizing protective measures and expansion is now crucial before the Bitcoin halving. #BitcoinMining #CryptoSecurity

@trendkraft casually skimming user rewards to rogue wallets - sheesh... maybe the developer shouldn't be forking repos for a solo mining pool if they can't program a coinbase payout?

PSA: The recently released Bassin Pool on Umbrel most likely uses a compromised Docker image. This image itself has no public and open source code, but when the Stratum parser parses the JSON, it redirects to a completely different BTC address. This means that in the event of a block, you will receive nothing. Stop mining via Bassin until the issue has been resolved. CC: @umbrel

Solo mining Bitcoin? It's like playing the lottery. You likely won't hit a block, but the chance is there. At 5 Terahash, you have a 1 in 4,080 chance of winning ~$284K. Full Video: youtu.be/jNqoQqRq2uM

The original Bitcoin white paper was likely typed on a Windows XP computer by Satoshi Nakamoto. Researchers matched the fonts and small PDF rendering quirks that match Windows XP defaults.

Early next year I will complete my seventh doctorate. Yes, seventh. Try to breathe through it. By then I will hold a PhD in law, a PhD in economics, a PhD in computer science, a DBA in data analytics, a DBA in leadership and management, a DBA in information technology, and a doctorate in theology. I realise that for some people this reads like a clerical error or a cry for help. For others, it is simply what happens when one refuses to let fashionable incompetence set the ceiling. For once, someone will actually equal a Hollywood character instead of merely tweeting about one. The culture keeps manufacturing geniuses on a soundstage, then congratulating itself for believing in them. Meanwhile, in the unglamorous world where effort costs something, the real work gets done without a soundtrack. Consider this a small correction to the national addiction to make-believe. And since the appetite for understanding does not stop because the audience is tired, I will be starting the eighth and ninth doctorates too: a PhD in psychology and a PhD in physics. The first is to understand how people think; the second, how the world behaves when people are not sentimentalising it. At that point I will have equalled Bruce Banner. Next, I intend to beat him. It is about time someone outdid Hollywood, if only to remind the worshippers of fiction that reality still exists, and it is not obliged to be modest.

if each machine is ~3.3kW and you have 30 machines then you have about 99kW 99 kW × 24 hours × 30 days = 71,280 kWh/month = $3,636 cost per kWh / 71,280 kWh ≈ $0.05099/kWh ≈ 5.1 cents per kWh so if I may ask, how are you at 5.1c/kWh, when the USA average is approaching 20c/kWh? fred.stlouisfed.org/series/APU0000…

Right now, I mine 0.046956 Bitcoin a month. Which is worth roughly $4,339 It costs me $3,636 to acquire that BTC. That's the beauty of mining. Even at smaller margins, I'm still stacking Bitcoin at a discount.

@JacobKinge We shut down Bitcoin mining in Maryland because of a multimillion dollar dispute with PEPCO holdings (Delmarva Power & Light)… can anyone provide info on the lawsuit tether has filed in Uruguay? I’d like to see how it happened please. Thank you.

Should you build and mine your own Bitcoin blocks using BlockBuilder.app? Check out this Pitch-a-thon discussion with @JoeOnChain and @NewMoneyCryptoX (shoutout to @kucoincom). This video explains why Bitcoin mining became centralized, how pooled mining took over, and how BlockBuilder lets you return to true solo mining without running a Bitcoin node, writing C++ or Python, or managing your own mining infrastructure. This walkthrough covers how to anonymously connect ASIC miners, launch private or public pools, customize block templates, and transparently verify payouts directly in your coinbase transactions. Learn how modern mining pools hold custody of your rewards, how payout trust assumptions work, and why solo mining pays substantially more per block while remaining rare due to network difficulty. See how BlockBuilder removes the technical barriers – no full node installation, no command-line setup, no coding – and gives miners an easy way to control block construction, coinbase scripts, transaction selection, and template generation through a simple web interface. Topics covered: • Why pooled mining became dominant • How mining centralization emerged • Custodial vs. noncustodial pool payouts • Solo mining vs. pooled mining differences • Anonymously mine to solo.blockbuilder.app • Mining directly to your Bitcoin wallet • Create a pool + web UI + custom domain • Managing your own block templates • Fusing two or more pools into one • Unified Sv1 URL without custom firmware • Full transparency in block construction • Verifiable non-custodial coinbase payouts BlockBuilder.app supports anonymous mining, verified unlimited accounts, private or public pool creation, coinbase-level payout transparency, and complete control over the block templates your miners use. It is designed for Bitcoin miners, solo miners, home miners, developers, and anyone who wants to understand and control how their blocks are built. @Kate_L_Mosso That’s intense. Sorry you’ve had such a difficult medical journey. Everyone needs something to believe in. Good luck in your BSV venture. I will add a BSV algorithm to blockbuilder.app so you can launch your own BSV pool and solo mine your own BSV blocks. Would that help?
