Two men can’t teach a boy how to love a woman.
Two women can’t teach a girl how to trust a man.
Children learn through modeling. Not slogans.
Boys watch how their father honors their mother.
Girls watch how their mother respects their father.
No same-sex pairing can replicate that polarity; no matter how "loving" the home is.
Get it!!!🫵

Oga shut tf up with these emotional rhetorics. You people are too emotional about everything.
I have been homeless too. I couldn't afford rent at some point in Lagos. Someone accommodated me, but he was always peeping through the door while his cousin was having her bath. I caught him and confronted him, and he evicted me. While I was staying with him, I contributed to the feeding for everybody. I did chores.
After he evicted me, I would sleep at the pool side of hotels or buy one bottled water for around N200, pretend like I was watching football at the outside bar and stay there from 6pm till 6am the next morning. My best friend's younger siblings would send me their pocket money at some point so I could feed.
I eventually joined one of my friends who was a cameraman to go for his jobs. I would hold the reflector for him, light, etc. I didn't even know anything about that but i learnt on the job. We would eat at the events and take extra home. We jumped buses. Left early and came home late. We were going for a job to the east one day, his tyre pulled and we spent the night on the road.
It was during this period that we covered Anthony Ujah's wedding and delivered it to Onazi's house, where he said I was the first person coming to his house with a gift.
I had nothing and was seriously struggling, but I was raised to always give no matter the condition I find myself. I played FIFA with onazi, and he gave me N20k for every game I won.
I was not busy begging for rent on social media or looking for handouts. I took life on. I found ways to provide value and be productive.
While in Nassarawa state, I would drive delivery trucks and offload a full truck of pure water. The mentality you see in me today was built by a legendary father and of course my struggles and life experiences, so do not fvcking tell me about life happening to you. If life kicks you down 200 times, fvcking get back up 201 times.
"Utdfan" was my first account on Twitter. I started that page out of hunger. I was intelligent and could write so I would write threads, rillimillz on IG would repost, people followed me and started gifting me money.
When I was able to afford my first house rent at Ago, i couldn't fvcking afford anything else. I slept on cold hard tiles. My dad came to Lagos to visit St Nicholas Hospital for his kidney failure issue, saw how i was living, took pity on me and bought me buckets, pots and plates.
Don't fvcking tell me about life happening to you. You are not the only one its happening to. I fvcking persevered. My girlfriend then even broke up coz she was getting pressure from home to get married as the only daughter and i wasn't looking like i would be ready anytime soon.
The things i say here are not from a place of privilege. I am speaking from experience. I have lived that life. I and my friend got a pay from a job, we cooked a pot of Egusi, went to watch ball and came back to 2 cockroaches making out inside the food. We removed them, heat up the food and fvcking ate it like that.
Miss me with all that life happening bullsh!t. There is no reason why you should settle for begging for handouts on social media.
I don sleep for cell. Arrested in Asaba for an order that was placed in Lagos, stayed in Asaba cell for a week before they came and took me in handcuffs to Lagos where i spent extra 2 weeks in a cell in Lagos before my brother and his girlfriend helped get me out all for something i didn't do and that was because i was trying to survive.
It riles me up when i see people begging on social media or even off social media. TF are you doing?. TF you mean people should pay your rent?. Go and sleep under the bridge. Adversity will bring out the creativity in you. You will figure something out. If you are going through hell, fvcking keep going but NEVER BEG OR SETTLE FOR HANDOUTS. You are better than that.

I understand that social media can be a place to tell our stories, but some stories are not ours to tell especially when they involve vulnerable loved ones. Sharing your sister’s situation, knowing she's pregnant and differently abled, feels like a breach of her dignity.

After loving her into loving you, on your wedding day she’ll make a post talking about, "He used to DM me 3 times a day and randomly call me and I would never respond or answer. After 2 years and 5 heartbreaks the only thing that was consistent was him. So i’m glad I looked past the physical (cos he was not my type) and took a chance on him because look where we are now!!!🥰🤍💍”. Lol Godforbid.
