@lastgloss @Adihell @ameviil all sales, including those from independent websites, have a strict deadline. Billboard doesn't just blindly accept a label's reported numbers, they manually verify everything to prevent chart manipulation and bulk purchasing

@Adihell @ameviil That's true but independent sales (like selling physical album on-site during concerts) are reported by labels and trusted 3rd parties that monitor them and he had concerts the last 2 days so he can report these late but still, hitsdd made the predictions based on that lol

and to add, bb has strict rules against "bulk buying." for example if his label says they sold 100,000 copies but 30,000 were flagged as "suspicious" (ex. 10 copies bought by one person), luminate will ignore/not count those 30,000.

unless his team has roughly 40,000+ "secret" physical sales that were legally sold before Thursday night but haven't been scanned by luminate yet (which is very rare for a digital-heavy release), BTS is locked for a second week at #1.
