we have the art, writing, language etc that we have today as a byproduct of referencing everything that came before it. AI will allow for the creation of new categories in the same way that the computer did for artists who 1) are interested in integrating it as a tool (not replacing parts of their creative process, adding to their process to create something net new) 2) have been held back by access to funds / labels / agents / other traditional systems and now have the ability to do most or all parts of production and distribution themselves. it’s also not going back in the box, so humans need to either figure out a positive progressive way to work with it, or be pushed into using it in a way they have no control over (like algorithms)
