Delicate question: my friend’s sister is very sick and looking for a novel to “carry her to the other side.” She wants one that’s beautifully written & features ghosts/the afterlife that’s spooky but not horror. She’s read Addie LaRue and Her Fearful Symmetry. Any suggestions?
