@BrennaGreene_ Love the person but all the minutes he played should have been gift to Sharpe
Ok defensively blabla
But as a spurs fan, everytime i saw matisse on the court, i felt safe af
You had the players to cover sharpe defensively, big splitter mistake imo
Matisse Thybulle on the job Tiago Splitter did this season:
"There's a term where, if its late in the shot clock and someone throws you the ball because they don't have a good look and you have to shoot it with no time left, they call it a grenade. In a sense that's kind of what Tiago was thrown... It's in some cases a bit of miracle, but in our world, even if you overachieve, it can still be disappointing to people... As far as I'm concerned, Tiago did an amazing job."
@NBA_NewYork@JameelahJNBA If your sole purpose on the floor is to "stop" Brunson & you so EASILY allow switches, then what's the point of you being on the floor? How bout this, Brunson "Held" Jalen Johnson to zero points...
.@JameelahJNBA "[Game 1] Brunson was calling for the switch a lot on you"
…
Dyson Daniels "They're trying to…get me off him as much as they can…For me it's about being physical, knowing where screens are coming from so I can push him away…refs letting us be physical off ball"
The NBA choosing to put their first three playoff games today (and all play-in games) on Prime, on a weekend where everyone is craving sports... and they should be making their product as easy to consume as possible....
Certainly is a choice 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Karl-Anthony Towns finished the 2025-26 regular season with:
* More rebounds than Nikola Jokić or Victor Wembanyama
* More steals than Evan Mobley or Rudy Gobert
* More double-doubles than everyone in the NBA
* More assists than Anthony Edwards or Isaiah Hartenstein
* More points than Stephen Curry or LaMelo Ball
* More made 3-pointers than Andrew Nembhard or Nikola Vučević
* A higher plus/minus than Jaylen Brown or Donovan Mitchell
not bad for a "bad" year
Sidetalk "When the Knicks win a championship what's gonna happen?"
Zohran Mamdani "As a New Yorker you're like I can't wait. As the Mayor, absolute chaos"
ST "You gotta let us do our thing"
ZM "It's been a long time…Could be the year––if Mitch keeps signing toenails who knows
@LarrryOmooba@TheDunkCentral@awfulannouncing Outside of shai, Brunson as a pg has the best supporting cast in the league and can’t make it anywhere despite that fact. But be proud of that conference finals appearance last year, that’s the most successful the Knicks will see for a while, especially if y’all are finna pay him
@TheDunkCentral@awfulannouncing Colin saying Jalen’s very good but not great and needs second fiddle is cold take. Man’s downplaying Brunson’s impact. Knicks rising contradicts that whole narrative.
Colin Cowherd says Jalen Brunson isn’t a great player and needs to be a 2nd or 3rd option on a championship team.
"Brunson's very good, he's not great…he's not that guy…Jalen Brunson has to be a number two. On a great team, a three."

This man ordered some pizza for dinner. He knows delivery drivers don’t carry much money and he only had a $100 bill. So he called down and explained to them and the employee said it was fine.
When the delivery driver came out with the food he says he can’t break a $100 and only has $15 on him. The man tries to explain that he only has the $100 and that he already spoke to someone at the shop.
The man is now refusing to give the pizza back and suggests the driver takes the $100 and comes back with change but the driver said no, since it was a busy day. Should the man give the food back since he did try to pay and they declined his payment?
“They’ve got to do something about this tanking situation. I don’t like how teams are deliberately trying to tank to get a good draft pick.”

Darryn Peterson fires back at critics, saying he doesn’t want to miss games
“Basketball is my life. If I could have been out there every game this year, I would have. If you would have asked me last year, what were my goals for this year, I would never mention missing games.”

One of the NBA’s potential anti-tanking proposals garnering some discussion is no team being allowed a top-4 pick if they made the conference finals the season prior.
After already being fined $100k, it appears the NBA office could be making a rule closely based off the Pacers.
