I felt something was wrong with my body since I was 4 or 5, whenever I was forced to get a haircut I would cry for days, and when I learned what puberty would do to me, I said I wanted to “go to heaven”.
Nobody told me I was born in the wrong body, nobody put that in my head.

the scientific consensus is chromosomes are a bimodal and there is xx and xy but also a distribution between the two - one would not medically be considered male after long enough on hrt

But there are many definitions and many ways one could be male or female.

the whole point is hrt changes your cells, after enough time on it you're basically intersex at minimum

as to what extent it kinda depends, but a trans person who's been on hrt for long enough would not medically speaking be their birth sex anymore - your cells change due to hrt and after about seven years they'd all be, in my case, female
