Slightly amused that people can and do pirate Kenney Game Assets All-in-1... I mean, it's literally a bundle of my ALREADY FREE STUFF 🫠 Grab the stuff separately here, no need to pirate; kenney.nl/assets

@KenneyNL Hey Kenney, I'll be honest I don't know WHAT you're not developing for Apple devices specifically, and I do agree with your reasons. However, there is Codemagic and XCode Cloud which offer free "build minutes" (just sharing the info, as it's saved me thousands £££)

Reasons include, but not limited to; - Apple is a terrible anti-consumer/developer company - The cost of dev is high - Requires Apple hardware (do not own) - Apple users require too much support - Keeping the software running costs too much maintenance - License/notarization

I get this question multiple times a day so; I will not develop for Apple devices, there'll be no Mac version of anything. If you want my software/games to run on your Apple device you might be able to use a simulator or emulator - that's all fine by me. But no official releases

The best advice I can give someone "getting into the field" (#SysAdmin in particular) is to "give it a go". Get something old, not mission critical and just play around. Break things; learn how to fix it. #AI has screwed up search engines, but the info is there. Don't rely on AI.

I've been frequenting LinkedIn a lot more, and one thing I've noticed is that there is a LOT of AI generated imagery. How can I tell? It all looks the same. #AI #Aiart#generic #linkedin #spam

This is great advice. As someone who has worked on widely varying projects, having to learn the terminology and methodology of the different industries is tiring. However, working with someone who understands their field and understands the code is such a blessing!
kache@yacineMTB

my advice to anyone who wants to learn to code because they feel like their white collar field isn't going to get them to where they want: don't become a software engineer, become an accountant/lawyer/actuary/policy analyst/economist that can also code you'll kill

If anyone has a solution to this bug, it would be great! Firefox on Linux suddenly stops working. It seems to be on maximised screens and alt-tabbing. My findings are also included below. #webDevelopment #IDE #Firefox #Linux #c61" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?i…

@KatMedinah @tldlist @Porkbun So strange. What I just cannot understand why it was affecting OUR devices, the people who own the site/manage the DNS. For the rest of the internet they were working just fine.

@_classicniall @tldlist @Porkbun I did not log into porkbun from my phone and I use mobile data on my phone. All domains still were not resolving on my phone either. My uptime bots were all pinging site up and site down for many many hours today, so no, I don't think this would be related.

@KatMedinah @tldlist @Porkbun Though, having a thought, it only "broke" for the devices I've logged into Porkbun from (maybe same IPs?). Surely that couldn't be the cause, right?

@KatMedinah @Porkbun Could you try removing the CNAME records and replacing them with A records? The problem is fixed for me, and that's the only thing I changed (and it took affect pretty quickly).

@_classicniall @Porkbun Yes, I do have CNAME records. Pretty much for all domains involved (checked 3 now)

@KatMedinah @Porkbun @KatMedinah by any chance could you see if you have a CNAME record? My website uses www, and subdomains don't load. MXToolbox and others show that there isn't a CNAME record (despite there being one).
