hey man, thanks for surviving the frost area of the game. here's a ring of frost resistance, it’ll help you take less frost damage in the future. Anyway good luck in the fire area. Oh no they don’t do frost damage there haha. They actually take half damage from frost weapons too

which means that fromsoft has figured out how to make games that audiences will buy. if fs felt squeezed, they could just leave and find funding elsewhere with easier conditions, knowing that they would still make successful games because they don't need a partner to do that

fromsoft has shown it can make successful games with any publishing partner, and without those publishing partners making having a significant impact on the outcomes (i.e iirc sony moaned about demons' souls constantly but from ignored them)

There is a great intimate scene with Vaan and Ashe where he talks about all the grief and hopelessness he had to endure under imperial rule. It's all about people trying to rebuild their lives after all these years they lost. It's still really good

Final Fantasy XII turns 20 but it continues to impress by taking its time to show the effects of imperial and colonial rule. It constantly depicts the daily struggle of the people front and center and how they have to continue living and stick together under an oppressive system.
