@_dareDev For me they just have the most interesting stories and characters plus the gameplay loop of grinding for experience is fun to me.

I play less video games during a heat wave because my room is so hot it’ll fry my consoles. I’ve been rocking the 3DS outside the last couple days.

@_dareDev It’s my favourite genre but we all like our own thing and that’s fine. It’s not like you said it’s awful.

@fr1zko415 It’s not the norm, yes - but the underlying thrust of the topic was I believe that such behaviour wasn’t healthy, normal or to be boasted about. It doesn’t matter that it was just a controller, this person obviously has issues and probably needs help in dealing with frustration.

@_dareDev She blocked me, before I had a chance to explain anything but again, not defending any actions and can see the unchecked action logic. Just don’t agree with the assumption it’s a certainty or that it’s the case with every situation.

People are acting the like controller is a sentient being. It’s a fucking accessory. And if you think it correlates to how you would treat people, than you absolutely lack any type of critical thinking skills. Is it emotionally immature?, give u the ick? 💯. but that’s it

@fr1zko415 @TheGingerPerks Because we excuse such things, people learn that aggression can be a solution to frustration and the pattern of behaviour escalates beyond ‘controllers’ as it’s been unchecked. This is the point I believe @TheGingerPerks is making. It’s not the controller, it’s what follows.

@_dareDev @TheGingerPerks I see what you’re saying. I think that’s just far and few inbetween the norm. In gingerperks case as well. Sucks she went through that stuff. But those personal experiences don’t mean everyone is that way. Or that it’s the norm

@fr1zko415 @TheGingerPerks In saying ‘it’s just a controller’, you’re ignoring this persons reaction to being frustrated was a display of violence and aggression significant enough to do that degree of damage to something built to take knocks. That’s unhinged behaviour and not some we should normalise.
