@Cnote203 @HustleBitch_ that's how it is going for majority of businesses in my state, mine included, banks done stopped handing out pennies in change orders for companies, so we have to round it out, but if you use a card you arent loosing anything, an actually some customers will be gaining 2 pennies

Usually, the practice is to round up/down depending on the total. Your item is $9.92, then it rounds down to $9.90. If it's $9.93, it rounds up to $9.95. Whatever is closer and it rounds to the nearest .05. Idk if thats happening in America, but as a Canadian, this has been the policy since we got rid of the penny years ago. Unless you pay by card, then it's the exact amount. USA announced getting rid of the penny this year, right? Dollars to doughnuts, THATS what is happening and home depot isn't pulling an office space type scam skimming pennies from bootleg Santa as in the vid.
