The internet has turned "being a creative" into an aesthetic. Everyone wants the perfect desk setup, the mood board, the title. But true mastery is incredibly boring. It’s built in silence, repetition, and the discomfort of starting from zero.

I shoot drone footage and do motion work because no prompt can tell me what to notice at 6am when the light hits a certain way. That’s mine. The designers I respect most all have something like that. A practice that exists completely outside the software. It’s where their actual taste lives. Since tools are getting better at execution. It just means point of view is becoming the only thing that actually separates anyone.
