Considering everything he's has achieved, his value is still well above the €70M we paid for him. Since returning from his ACL injury, he's also had a few fitness issues. As painful as it is to admit, relying on him every week during the most crucial part of the season is no longer guaranteed. If he does leave, I'd rather thank him for everything he has done than call him a snake and erase seven years of greatness. We have Elliot Anderson, Ayyoub Bouaddi is expected to arrive, and we already have Nico González. None of them are Rodri, but football moves on, and so will Manchester City. Rodri is a Manchester City legend. If his dream is to finish his career in his home country, then he deserves our respect and gratitude not abuse. Thank you for everything, Rodri. 🩵
