Lotta reasons to hate John Lennon but you gotta give it up for kind of putting Kill Yourself Music on the map. They really didn't let sad stuff on the radio until like Help. He wrote the first "I'm a loser". It's not even ironic. He just explains in british 60s pop how he sucks
