@harrapasabhyata If we don’t focus on problems in old cities then in future the same problems will arise in newly built cities and the cycle will continue. You simply cannot built a new city every time right? First fix the old cities or at least solve major issues in it and then build new ones.

@MossyMood No one is saying to build new infra but to maintain the existing ones. Our cities are filled with roads with thousands potholes and struggle with basic amenities therefore improving all the cities should be the first priority and then we can shift our focus to build the new ones.

@_ecoli__ Regulation. Even in other countries its becoming too difficult to build new infra and housing in big cities due to overregulation. It's just easier to start over with cheap land somewhere else.

@misheg9ss Building new cities is a good initiative when the old existing ones are equipped with basic amenities but as we know all major Indian cities are struggling with as basic as roads & water thats’s why i think it’s important to first fix the old cities first and then build new one.
