WiFi extenders? Worst invention ever. A WiFi extender/repeater isn’t just “1 more router” It literally mirrors the radios of your main router. Your main WiFi router usually has 2 radios. Add an extender. It also has 2 radios (2.4 + 5 GHz) So now instead of 2 transmitters in your space, You’ve got 4 separate RF transmitters blasting. And it doesn’t stop there. The latest WiFi 7 standard unlocks the 6 GHz band too. So now 1 router can run 3 radios at once - 2.4 GHz - 5 GHz - 6 GHz Imagine adding an extender to that.
