@_ediri 100% - I think everyone today is in an existential AI crisis wondering what unique differentiators we have. Experience we built over many years for a very different ecosystem that changed nearly overnight.

I had this exact same conversation with different folks i met during our meetups. Always the same statement: Before I knew XYZ very good but from one day to another this knowledge is now worth nothing. I share this thoughts a lot too

It’s an honor to welcome Mitchell Hashimoto to the @vercel board. Mitchell built both an incredible company and foundational infrastructure, always putting open source and developers first. As the world is rebuilt with AI, I can’t think of a better person than an exceptional thinker like Mitchell to help us define the Agentic Infrastructure of the future. I can tell you the hype is real btw. Just having worked closely with him only for a few weeks, I see the magic. And, it also doesn’t hurt to have a *checks notes* direct line to ask for Ghostty features like session restoration and vertical tabs 😆

Just tells everyone how much you don't about anything really. Two of the most important conferences for the high-tech sector are happening next week - that have dozens of successful Israeli sponsor companies. RSA Conference & Kubecon And some people are already heading out for Passover vacation. Get a grip on life.

Excited to share that I've joined Vercel's Board of Directors. Vercel is made up of builders and tastemakers that continually ship things that deeply impact how developers work: Next.js, AI SDK, v0, etc. I can't think of a more exciting place to be. Let's fucking ship. ▲ My relationship with Vercel goes back to the earliest days. HashiCorp was an early adopter of NextJS and Vercel (~10 years ago!) and it remains my default tech stack and deployment platform to this day. Ghostty's website is all on Vercel, too! Beyond that, I've been continually impressed with the teams relentless focus on shipping meaningful software. And importantly, software that has incredible taste. Now we are in the age of agentic software development. Vercel is building agentic infrastructure that I think every app and agent will need (I certainly need it!) and I can't think of a more exciting place to be. Huge thanks to @rauchg , Jeanne, Marten, @cramforce, @tomocchino and the entire Vercel team for the warm welcome. Time to work.

@AlexJonesax I think from the feedback of our customer is that they use one of these: Bedrock, Azure Foundry or Google Vertex AI. So LLM usage costs are part of the cloud budget and owned by the cloud / PE team. So Bedrock support as first would be awesome to have.

@_ediri I can do that if you need it. So far it’s a mixture of OpenAI/anthropic/ollama/lm studio. No kings here, whatever people actually use!

@AlexJonesax I used kagent in my last one and folks loved it. But I think this one is a much better use case. I just need to check if you support Bedrock or maybe i need to throw LiteLLM in the mix for the OpenAI compatibility and because it makes sense.

People saying MCP is dead are forgetting two important things: - Remote MCP is the true MCP - Agentic coding workflows will need to move seemlessly between local client and server. Async delegation will become much more popular. Skills.md + MCP has a strong future.
