At some point, we could build hierarchy by typing Tab and Shift-Tab. Outliners were born. Now, we can build connections by typing [[link]]. Tools for Thought were born. When can we build structured data by typing stuff? What will be born?

@smolcompute It's the opposite. Obsidian cannot be created with 100 people, but can be more likely created by 2-3 people.

You can roughly divide knowledge into "how things work" and "what happened". "How things work" is a condensed version of "what happened". Less stores, more patterns. I find it helpful to alternate between the two so one doesn't get bored.

Don't rely on second-hand information to make judgement. Always think from first principles when you can. You might have fewer ideas, but each of them is more sound and stable than what other people tell you.

The more owners a company has, the less human it will be. Megacorps would do things no individual would ever do. When they're owned by so many humans, they're behaving much more like a computer that solves for max profit than a human.

Even I would think I'm reading a book that tells me why Obsidian is important, but this is just a children education book by Papert.
