@BalanceBF I use DualSense - it's good, but I don't have much experience with others. One problem for some is that most PC games don't support the PS layout. A lot of non-Steam games will not recognise any controller, but there are 3rd party softwares.

Forza Horizon 6 is currently being heavily review-bombed on Steam, mostly by players using Simplified Chinese.
The game has a “Mixed” overall rating due to around 6,800 negative Chinese-language reviews, while reviews in other languages are mostly “Very Positive” or even “Overwhelmingly Positive.”
Chinese players are mainly upset for two reasons:
> The game is set in Japan, which is a sensitive topic because of long-running historical and political tensions between China and Japan.
> The Simplified Chinese translation is reportedly very poor. Players say even basic words like “left,” “right,” and “yes” are translated incorrectly.
Another reason this situation became so visible is how Steam works in China. Because of the Great Firewall, many Chinese players cannot easily access official forums or communicate directly with developers.
Similar review-bombing campaigns have happened with other games before.

FPS is such a played out genre at this point. It's been obvious for about a decade now it's all about money. Zero passion, corpos just siphoning infinite money. Everyone copying everyone, slight differences between franchises. Feels like every new FPS that drops has 2 weeks in the sun then it drops off a cliff.
Going to take a team with massive funding, a unique and fresh idea, and the understanding that people just want what they had before in the 2000's and early 2010's, aka a miracle. None of this SBMM/EOMM, OP AA, evil monetization stuff, real gameplay depth and replayability, and a solid and consistent content release cycle.
The only high quality shooter that is really doing something new-ish imo is Deadlock rn.

@SorehaNick I joined in a rough period of my life. Sadly, it was a rough period for D2 too but I instantly felt in love with it. Wish I could join earlier and found people to raid with.

@VolSeeUh It's funny how they delayed the next DLC, kept radio silent for months just to announce they are officially ending game support. Another franchise that can be great but is mismanaged for years.
The best thing they can do now is unvault the campaigns. But we know they won't.

Destiny could have been the greatest live service game of all time with the right people in charge.
Easily my favorite multiplayer game ever. Nothing comes close to the feeling of a new expansion dropping & day one raiding. Really sad to see it go, but hopeful of something greater to come.

@k1rallik All the premium player I know had 0 issues. You can't destroy everything. Map is everything but empty. Soundtrack is composed of mainly Japanese artists and its very... Japanese. Did you even play the game or engagement bait?

You can destroy every tree in Forza Horizon 6 except for Cherry blossoms due to their cultural importance Design Director Torben Ellert said “Cherry blossom trees [aren't smashable], because they’re an iconic element of Japanese culture”

actually most modern games die because they’re overly casualized
and once the casuals move onto the next casual friendly title, the previous game is far too dumbed down for the core player base to be engaged long term

@Reave Meh 🤷🏻♂️. being more “skilled” in a game that majority of kills are done by people you are not engaging doesn’t seem all that skillful to me. most of these games die because of PVP.
