in season 7 riot games made one of the worst decisions that nobody has adapted to they renamed pink wards to control wards and to this day in 2026 not a single player on the planet calls them control wards your jungler pings the bush and says "put a pink" your support says "i need to buy pinks" your coach says "you need more pinks" even PROS in comms say pink ward riot literally renamed an item and the entire community said no 9 years later and we still refuse to acknowledge it you know how powerful a community has to be to collectively reject an official name change for almost a DECADE? at this point just rename it back riot please give us pink wards back. nobody asked for control wards. nobody wanted control wards. the name control ward has zero aura. pink ward is iconic. pink ward is culture. should riot just rename them back to pink wards? The fact that Spain has such peculiar religious celebrations but has legalised abortion, weed, and equal marriage among other modern things, shows that you can keep old traditions while the State can still legislate for the wellbeing of the whole citizenry
