This morning I saw a while light moving fairly slowly across the sky (about the speed of a small plane) and all of the sudden that white light disappeared. There was no sounds associated with what I saw.

🔥 Solar Flare, CME & Storm Update... April 24, 2026
As of 7:40 AM Eastern Time this morning, the Sun has already delivered a very active and powerful stretch of energy. This is not a quiet solar window. We have had multiple eruptions, including two confirmed X-class solar flares within the last several hours, and that alone tells us the solar field is highly charged right now.
The first major eruption was an X2.4 solar flare from Region 4419. It began at 8:51 PM Eastern Time on April 23, peaked at 9:07 PM, and ended at 9:13 PM. That was followed just hours later by an even stronger X2.5 flare, also from Region 4419. That flare began at 4:01 AM Eastern Time on April 24, peaked at 4:13 AM, and ended at 4:18 AM.
After that, we also had an M1.9 flare this morning. That one began at 4:57 AM Eastern Time, peaked at 5:07 AM, and ended at 5:19 AM. There were also several C-class flares through the overnight and early morning hours, showing that the Sun has remained unstable and active instead of calming back down.
Right now, NOAA is showing radio blackout impacts. That makes sense with X-class activity, because strong flares affect the sunlit side of Earth almost immediately by disturbing the ionosphere. This can interfere with high-frequency radio, navigation signals, and communication systems for short periods of time.
The big question now is the CME side of this. A flare is the flash of energy. A CME is the plasma wave that may or may not be launched toward Earth. With eruptions this strong, CME activity is possible, but the real impact depends on direction, speed, and magnetic structure. If the CME is Earth-directed, we would usually be watching the April 25 to April 26 window for possible geomagnetic storm effects.
This is why today matters. The flare has already happened. The immediate radio effect has already happened. But the larger storm question depends on whether the solar material is actually coming toward Earth and how strongly it connects with our magnetic field when it arrives.
For now, the cleanest update is this... the Sun is active, Region 4419 is producing major eruptions, two X-class flares have already fired within hours of each other, and we are now watching for CME confirmation and possible storm development over the next 24 to 48 hours.
Pay attention to your body, your emotions, your sleep, and the collective field today. These solar windows often feel like pressure before they become visible in the outer world. Stay grounded. Stay hydrated. Stay centered. The Sun is speaking loudly right now.
