Yesterday, The CLARITY Act passed through the @FinancialCmte and @HouseAgGOP committees.
The language that protects noncustodial tools and services and their developers was preserved in the process.
This was a big win for Bitcoin transactional privacy.

Summary of yesterday’s amendment votes on The CLARITY Act (H.R. 3633):
✅ Passed favorably out of the @FinancialCmte with a vote of 32-19.
✅ Passed favorably out of the @HouseAgGOP committee with a vote of 47-6.
No amendments re: self custody or noncustodial tools were added.

forces that want you dependent on intermediaries
we’re winning now, but they aren’t going away. stay vigilant!

Ignoring the fact that Bitcoin is now a political issue is similar to politicians ignoring the fact that Bitcoin exists and is a force in the world.
Neither is productive.
Engage with elected officials and tell them why Bitcoin is important to you.
