The more I think about online systems
the more I realize how easy it is for people to confuse participation with reward
you can be present
consistent
active
valuable to the system itself
and still not be building anything that really stays with you
that gap matters a lot
because if people keep bringing energy into a platform without staying connected to the value that comes from it
then the system is still doing most of the winning
that’s one reason $ION from @ice_blockchain keeps standing out to me
it pushes a direction where contribution feels less disposable
and closer to something people can actually grow from over time
