I just walked a client through a $34,740 hotel booking. They spent $0 out of pocket and got a *sweet* points deal. Here's how we did it: Client was sitting on 1.3 million Amex points. They wanted to do a couple's trip with their business partners. 2 rooms, 7 nights, somewhere warm - hoping for a good points deal. I showed them the Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique - they loved it and the deal was TOO good: Amex points price: 860,000 points for 2 rooms//7 nights Cash price: $34,740 Cents per point: 4.04 (legendary value) If we assume their Amex points are worth 1 cent, then I saved them $26,140. $8,600 worth of points for a $34,740 stay. This is why I charge money - because my fees are a joke compared to the savings I bring you. I've spent countless hours and thousands of dollars building a points research service (we deal hunt for you) that works seamlessly. It's $50 to get started, and you only pay the rest of my fee if we find you a great deal. Start here: gosomewhere.world/research

well this is compelling. Open the card, pay $99 fee, & get unlimited BOGO flights for 1 year. Southwest must know people are mad at them. I'm not complaining, though! Won't be doing this myself, but this could be a huge win for anyone with a lot of Southwest flying planned for the year. & this card is totally worth keeping because it gets you a free checked bag and free standard seat on every flight - now that SW charges for those things lol.

Delta Flash Sale *TODAY ONLY*. As low as 26,000 SkyMiles for roundtrip spring flights to Europe. Took me 30 seconds to find this deal from Raleigh, NC: 👉 April 7-14 👉 28,000 SkyMiles + $142 in fees 👉 Main Basic Fare This is super low for Europe, especially from Delta. And if you have a Delta credit card, you get 15% off the points price. You have to book by EOD today and travel must take place before April 30, 2026. Act fast! I'm seeing deals from all over the country, lowest prices are from the East Coast. Can't wait to hear who books this!

Easy SoCal points win: $3,789 Laguna Beach stay for just 100,000 points. Dang, I’m jealous, Laguna Beach is easily one of my favorite places I’ve been. Just look at the scenery around this hotel - The Ranch at Laguna Beach. Here’s the deal I’m looking at: → July 3-7 (4 nights) → King Room → $3,789 cash rate → 400,000 Preferred Hotels & Resorts points Citi ThankYou Points transfer 1:4 to Preferred Hotels, meaning this would only require 100,000 Citi points. Capital One transfer 1:2, meaning you could book this for 200,000 Capital One Miles (less value here, but decent still). “They make it impossible to use your points, it’s too hard.” Naw. You just don’t know where to look // you’re not letting the deals determine where you go.

For you travel hackers out there like me, @_gosomewhere came up with a nice, simple calculator to determine whether you are getting the most bang for your buck out of your rewards points.
Colin Stroud@_gosomewhere

I just vibe-coded a calculator that tells you if you're getting a good points deal or not. It's right here: gooddeal.base44.app The most important metric in the points world is cents per point (CPP). Cents per point tells you how much value you're getting from each point, aka, how good a deal you're getting. 0.5 CPP = horrible 1 CPP = standard 1.5 CPP = mid 2 CPP = solid 3 CPP+ = great You calculate it using the points price of a flight/hotel, the comparable cash rate, and the applicable taxes/fees. I spent 2 years using a clunky + ugly calculator until I realized ITS 2026 AND I CAN JUST VIBE CODE THE STUFF I WANT. Please use it and let me know what you think! Calculator: gooddeal.base44.app

Working with a dentist spending $25k/mo getting ZERO travel from his spending. I put together a plan for him to get $10k/year (minimum) of travel: He has a 1.5% cash-back card, but the cash only comes as a statement credit. Basically, he never sees or feels his rewards. The business is fine, so I recommended he use rewards for personal/leisure travel. He loves to travel, and has been paying 100% out of pocket for recent trips to Europe & Asia. With his new strategy, he will: - Earn ~415,000 Chase points/year - Earn ~145,000 Citi points/year Worst case scenario, this is about $6,000/year of travel - but I can help him do MUCH better than that. With a few solid redemptions (SO much low-hanging fruit here), this could easily be $10,000+ of travel. It could easily be $15k+, honestly. We chatted about luxury hotels in Mexico, premium cabin flights to Europe, and much more. I taught him a few things, but I can do/will do the heavy lifting for him. When you purchase my business owner package, you get a credit card strategy audit, a new customized strategy, and your next big trip planned for you - aka I deal hunt for you and help you get massive value from your points. If you're like this guy, spending $25k+/mo and still paying out of pocket for all your trips, you are missing out. Seriously. I'd love to help. Start here: gosomewhere.world/businessowner

Fall 2023. I had just finished helping my parents implement a strategy to earn an extra 1 million points/year. I had a crazy thought - what if I could do this full-time? I was making $55k/year and didn't like my job. I had started writing on LinkedIn about credit card points and was helping people put together better strategies, mostly for free. After helping a few people spending a few thousand dollars/month, I asked if my parents would let me take a swing at their points situation. They're small business owners, and spend a lot on cards to keep their business running. When I audited their card setup, I couldn't believe how bad it was. The changes I helped them implement resulted in them earning an additional 1 million points in year 1. And I helped them book a luxury Caribbean trip with their new points. I thought: "Whoah, now THIS could be a big business." It hit me right there. I was onto something. Maybe this super weird niche business could support my family one day? About 14 months later, I made more money from Go Somewhere than I did from my full-time W2 job. I called my boss and quit. And the rest is history. I've been full-time since November 2024 and am still going strong. There can be long days and late nights, but I think as long as I live, I'll always be proud of what I built here, even if the government comes in and shuts down points & miles tomorrow (only half joking). Besides marriage and children, building Go Somewhere has been the most epic and fulfilling thing I've ever done. I continue to share my crazy story because it was posts just like this that gave me the confidence to finally start posting on LinkedIn and start my business. You can just do things, as they say.

A British airline sells Delta seats for 63% less than Delta does. This is why you need to understand points. Allow me to explain: Looking at flights for a client and found a pretty juicy deal: → Friday, February 20th, 2026 → One-way nonstop flight from DTW to SLC → Cash price: $489 → Delta Skymiles price: 43,500 + $6 → Virgin Atlantic points price: 16,500 + $5.60 This is crazy. It’s 63% less points to book a Delta flight through Virgin Atlantic (a British Airline started by Richard Branson, if you haven’t heard of it). I’ve been preaching this stuff for years, but people still don’t get it. You can book flights on your favorite airlines through partner airlines, and sometimes save big. Since Virgin Atlantic and Delta are both in the Sky Team alliance, you can book Delta flights through Virgin. Virgin often has WAY better pricing. This doesn’t always work (there’s not always availability), but when it does, it is SWEET. Remember, every major bank’s points transfer 1:1 to Virgin Atlantic - so almost anyone sitting on points right now could take advantage of a deal like this. Stop paying Delta’s outrageous prices. There’s a better way (what I just showed you). Play around with this today using a tool like Seats.aero. Good luck!

Greg was spending $20k/month on credit cards but getting nothing back. Here's the plan I put together to get him $10,000 of travel/year: Greg spends $15k/month on his business and $5k/month personally. The business spend was going on an Amex Blue card, which isn't a horrible card, but the rewards come in the form of statement credits - he never saw the cash. The personal spend was split between Costco and Southwest cards. Not an ideal setup. New setup: Business & personal spending on Chase Ink/Freedom Unlimited cards - unlimited 1.5x points/dollar that he can move over to his Sapphire Preferred card to use for travel. He'll earn 360,000 points/year with this strategy (+ an extra 150k this year from bonuses). More importantly, I'm helping him get 2-4 cents per point from those points. Greg loves fancy resorts in Mexico. That's really all he wants to do. He could stay 6 nights at the brand-new Park Hyatt Cabo for around 270,000 Chase points. The cash price for that place? Easily $9,000 for 6 nights. & that still leaves them 90,000 points to fly to Cabo (plenty). That's all he wants. 1 luxurious trip to Mexico each year. A $10,000 trip ($9k of hotels + $1k of flights), covered with points. Problem solved. This is the reason I charge money for my services. I'm deeply confident that any business owner spending $20k+/month can get $10,000 of travel/year from credit card points, easily. My service that sets up this system for you and does your trip planning/research for you costs just $875, or $750 if you skip the discovery call and just book:) Mid-January is a great time to finally fix your terrible CC rewards setup. Big discovery. There doesn't seem to be a credit card rewards guy on X. Lots of blogs/companies, very few humans who've built anything like me over on LinkedIn. Now begins my attempt at becoming the largest CC rewards guru on X, focused on small business owners.

Sometimes you’re in the mood to stay in one of Napoleon III’s imperial palaces in France. But $2,793/night hurts - here’s how to do it for a fraction of the cost: Hear ye, hear ye, all who have Chase points. You can transfer those points to Hyatt 1:1 and get great deals, like this one. This Hyatt property, the Hôtel du Palais in France is a GEM. If it’s good enough for Napoleon III, it’s good enough for me. Looking at mid-July 2026: → Palais Suite → Nightly price: $2,793 → Hyatt points price: 66,000 → Cents per point: 4.23 cents per point (amazing) So you could do 4 nights here, for 264,000 Chase points. Everyone else at the pool next to you will have paid $11,172. Make sure not to tell them that or you will have to buy appetizers.

We just helped a client book $33,296 worth of flights. No exaggeration. They'll fly the best business class seat in the world - here's how we did it: A couple from Dallas wanted to go to Australia, and they wanted to do it in style. It was Qatar Airways famous Q-Suites or BUST. It took a ton of points, but Nick from my team was able to find them round-trip business class (Q-Suite) flights to Australia. The total cash price? A shocking $33,296. Nick helped them get it booked for 980,000 points + ~$2K in taxes and fees. I know that sounds like a lot, but 980k points are typically worth about $9,800, so getting over $33k of value from 980k points + $2k in fees is a solid deal. This is something I love about points - they make the most aspirational flight experiences in the world significantly more attainable. Now I know most of you don't have 1 million points lying around, but you'd be surprised how many people do... If you're sitting on points, you need to take action. Your points are losing value daily. I've got a pretty epic service that deal hunts for you. You only pay our full fee if we find you an awesome deal you love. Details: gosomewhere.world/research

Shoot your shot. Threw this out on LinkedIn on a Saturday morning, got 11,000 views, and am talking to 3 different property owners. Life is crazy - this stuff would not happen if I didn't ask.

If I traveled for business, the last thing in the world I’d do is stack up Marriott points. There's another way, and it's *so* much better. Just talked to a business traveler spending about 40 nights/year at Marriott hotels. He's got Gold status and a Marriott card and typically earns about 18.5x points/dollar. 18.5x is amazing, right?! No. Because points aren't created equal. The Points Guy thinks those points are worth 0.7 cents per point. That's terrible. I told him he should be booking his travel through Rove. He can earn 10-40x points (yes I said 40) on hotel bookings and those points are so much more valuable. Rove is too good: rovemiles.com/home?referralC… Forget hotel status, I want points that are actually valuable. Let's say this guy spends $7k this year on hotels and averages 20x Rove miles per dollar spent. That's 140,000 miles. It's EASY to get huge value through Rove's portal on nice hotels. Check out the pic below: - $815/night - $3,263 total stay - Only 114,000 miles (3 cents per point) All I'm saying is, you're not getting this with Marriott. Pls make me wildly rich with Rove miles so I can book my summer vacation: rovemiles.com/home?referralC…

Since half of LinkedIn messaged me yesterday wanting help booking their big 2026 trip, I thought I'd explain in detail how I help people book dream trips w/points: 1) Go to my site, read over the details of my service, then fill out the form on my website. Form should take you about 5 minutes. Form: lnkd.in/g89YTkxy 2) Nick from my team will text you ASAP. If we think we can help with your trip, you pay our $50 non-refundable deposit and we start researching for you. PAUSE. What are we doing that you can't do yourself? Why are you paying money? Your credit card points transfer to 10-20 different airline/hotel partners. People who have deep knowledge (us) of these programs know how to find amazing deals. Deals like a $2k/night hotel for just 50,000 points/night. Like an $8k roundtrip business class flight for just 180,000 points. & so much more. You're paying us to do all the work for you. 3) In 1-3 business days, Nick sends you 1-3 itinerary options - the best deals we can find. If we can't find you something good, we say sorry, better luck next time. You pay nothing more. If we find you a great deal you're happy with, we get on a call and walk you through the booking process (it can be tricky). 4) After your flights/hotel are booked, we charge your card on file our booking fee (between $200-$500). Our goal is always to save you *significantly* more than we charge you. We constantly hear things like "I would have never found this without you guys!" I've spent a LOT of time making this service world-class. Worst case scenario is you lose $50 and learn a bit about points. Start here: lnkd.in/g89YTkxy Ideal clients: - 250k+ points - Flexible dates - Different types of rewards currencies - Not going to Antarctica

Business owners will be putting $30k/month on crappy credit cards and complain that their "rich" friends are "always traveling". Please know that $30k/month on cards is plenty to get you 2 epic vacations/year, easily. The points game has never been easier, and can be wildly lucrative. You've got 2 options in 2026: 1) Keep complaining that it's "too hard" and you don't have time. 2) Figure out the points game and take your family on some epic trips. You can pay me to do the latter for you. My calendar's open to chat: gosomewhere.world/businessowner

Here's what I'd do if I had 150k Chase points and wanted to surprise my wife Christmas morning with a *fancy* Valentine's Day getaway. Well, we have 2 little girls, so this definitely isn't happening. But if they were older, here's how I'd do it: 1) We'd go to New York City for 2 nights of Valentine's Day weekend. Weekend flights from Detroit are as low as $76 RT right now. Only $278 RT for Spirit Airlines first class (it's very nice) - because nothing says romance like Spirit Airlines. I'd use 56,000 Chase points to cover the 2 RT flights. 2) We'd book 2 nights at the Park Hyatt NYC - one of the best Hyatts in the world. Points price is 75,000 total Hyatt points for 2 nights right now, cash price is $2,321. A whopping 3.09 cents per point, what a win. 3) I'd phone a few friends and get a Hyatt Guest of Honor award. That would get us free breakfast, waived fees, a potential room upgrade, and more special treatment. 4) I'd cash out the final 20,000 points for $200 to help cover the cost of Broadway tickets. We'd still spend a pretty penny on dining, Uber, activities, etc... but we'll have a lot more in our pockets thanks to being so savvy with points. Points don't have to be complicated.

This guy is a genius. Needed to buy 6 laptops for employees - he turned some lemons into lemonade here: Spent $12,000 on computers and he got back: - 66,000 American Loyalty Points - 55,000 AA Miles (could be worth $1,500) - $1,000 Lenovo Rewards Roughly $3,500 of value here, from a $12k purchase. That'd be a 29% return on spend. I started my business because I realized business owners were spending insane amounts of money on credit cards to keep their businesses going and were getting PENNIES for it. If you can be strategic (like this guy), you can get incredible rewards from your business spending. I built my private community, Go Somewhere Insiders, for business owners like this guy (he's in it) to come together, learn from me, and learn from each other. They share strategies like this and we all work together to optimize spending to get ultra-luxury trips for WAY less than retail price. If you're spending $30k+/mo on cards, you should check it out: go-somewhere-insiders.circle.so/checkout/insid…

Client: I need a trip Me: How about Lake Tahoe, 4th of July weekend, $5k stay for 112k points? I'm recommending Citi cards more and more to people - SO many good reasons to earn Citi points. The 1:4 transfer ratio to Preferred Hotels & Resorts is pretty fun. I'm checking out the Edgewood Tahoe Resort, a *stunning* property in one of the most beautiful locations in America. Cash price for 3 nights over 4th of July weekend for a 2 queen room is $5,093. Points price: 450,000 Preferred Hotels points. BUT, if you have Citi points, you're in luck. Because of the 1:4 transfer ratio, you'd only need 112,500 for 3 nights here. That's 4.53 cents per point, a legendary redemption for a domestic hotel. Even better? There's no blackout dates here. Pretty much the entire year is wide open. No games with this, just an epic deal thousands of you could easily book.

Most people have no idea you can experience the iconic Emirates A380 without going to Dubai. I'm helping a client book business class seats on their fifth-freedom route from JFK to Milan next fall - 87,000 points + $400 one-way in business class. Not a bad deal at all. Emirates transfers seem to be going away, so if you want to experience this, now is the time to get it booked. I can help: gosomewhere.world/research
