@chrisbonnerjr @nascarman_rr I thought that was a fitting outcome for the pole also!
English

@DirtyMoMedia So Larson doesn't even lead a lap all day Hamlin leads 209 and is 3 seconds ahead with 3 to go, but he's Champion??? The new format better fix that problem!
English

@FL_Ranger @LASTCARonBROCK Back then there were sponsors fighting each other to get on the cars. They were spending money freely. The teams could take their pick of who they wanted. Now sponsors are very hard to find, the expenses have gone through the roof! Plus the charters can be pulled from you.
English

@LASTCARonBROCK The big thing for me is if "teams cannot survive without [charters]" how did NASCAR survive for so many years before Robert Kaufmann came up with the idea?
English

Good to see the plaintiff's reponse here, but that's an awfully narrow distinction to make.
On the one hand, saying they don't want to get rid of the Charter System and, indeed, the system is so essential that "teams cannot survive without them."
Then at the same time, not entering into the 2025 agreement and continuing with this case because they want to make "NASCAR more competitive and fair."
Okay, then HOW should that take place?
If it's a matter of the teams not having enough say in negotiating the terms of the Charters, or if the teams have a better idea of how to perfect the Charter System, then just say that.

NASCAR statement and 23XI/FRM attorney Jeffrey Kessler statement on NASCAR motion for summary judgment filed today, a filing with statements from several team owners/execs urging that the charter system remain and the case to be resolved:
English

@Jordan_Bianchi @Jordan_Bianchi don't you think it's a bad sign for 23XI and FRM that the judge doesn't really know what they are asking for in their suit?
English

NASCAR, 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports had another hearing yesterday in federal court. Here's a recap of the proceedings. nytimes.com/athletic/64336…
English

@jeff_gluck If this ruling were to stand, what's stopping NASCAR from offering those charters to others? Technically 23XI and FRM didn't sign the agreement and the charters expired at the end of last year. If courts say NASCAR doesn't have to honor them, why would they have to hold them?
English

@charleslaw2912 @AndrettiIndy Do you really think Andretti or any of the teams haven't bent the rules before now?
English

@AndrettiIndy I have followed Andretti et al since the 1960s. I am a fan and through all forms of racing. I hope this can be cleared up. Otherwise disappointed. Very.
English

@DirtyMoMedia Loved this! This was the best interview! Thank you Carl!

@JoshJarnagin @mohwkfoundation @nascarman_rr But this kinda thing will not end until those who benefit from the manipulation suffer consequences as well. I think Brad in the 6 should have bumped the 3 and moved him up into the 1.
English

@mohwkfoundation @nascarman_rr Did he know it would happen? Maybe. But he himself didn’t do anything to manipulate the ending of the race
English

Oh, they called the wall ride! They just couldn't make a decision over which manipulation was worse so they took the other violation to make an easier call. Wild
nascarman@nascarman_rr
I don't think the wall ride is the significant part here. When Chastain did it, he broke the track record, no one had ever made a faster lap at Martinsville. Bell was still a second slower than other cars. All the team orders should be the focus, Bell's wall impact wasn't egregious
English

@DirtyMoMedia Neither, they both had manufacturer's tampering helping them.
English

@BFR22Racing @TheresaMacrows1 @jeff_gluck The reason behind the question is in the last few weeks Josh Berry and Ryan Blaney both were not towed back to pits but were told they were
done for the day! Very inconsistent applications of the DVP.
English

@TheresaMacrows1 @jeff_gluck Because if it's fixable damage, they are allowed to fix on pit road under the damaged clock policy. If it's something like a trailing arm, they are not allowed to fix that on pit toad but a toe link they can.
If you watched the race, they did explain all this.
English

@JeremyDanilson @cyclonefanatic Glad we could get you fixed up for the game!
English

Ran up to Perry to @_graphics2u to grab my whiteout T-shirt after I screwed up my own shipping address and left with 5 extra shirts! Thanks Jeff and Mike! @cyclonefanatic

English

@ChrisMWilliams Think they got it right. Don't know why it took so long though. Most everyone else knew what needed done by the time the smoke cleared from his burnout!
English

@AustinCindric @DaleJr @DirtyMoMedia @AndrewKurlandTV @daltongreco I think @DaleJr was just being a little funny. However, just a short 5 Green/White/Checkers later your teammate won the race.......now that is some kind of amazing planning and strategy! 😉
English

@bjmmom2 @NFan9735132 @NASCAR @Blaney @iowaspeedway And he's the reigning Champion. So there's that too.
English

A historic victory in The Hawkeye State!
Repost to congratulate @Blaney on winning the first Cup race at @iowaspeedway! #IowaCorn350
