That mentality from Robbie is the issue with a lot of Arsenal fans. If they haven't seen Arteta do something, then it can't possibly work and it's completely dismissed, even if it's a viable solution. It didn't take a genius to know MLS in midfield would be a success.

I literally just stood there in silence when the foul got given on Raya, because 9/10 times even if it’s the wrong decision we get that given against us. Felt insane for a decision of that magnitude to flip in our favor.

Never taken more humble pie than on David Raya. Blown away any doubts I’ve ever had about him with his shot-stopping. He’s gotten better and better every season. Should be right up there with Saliba for POTY for Arsenal.

I forgot about Arteta’s winning team fetish, when he likes a team, he rinses it and doesn’t change it regardless of opposition. No complaints from me when it comes to doing that right now though.

@TsikoGunner We’ve had no red cards and no penalties against us. We got away with a Gabriel headbut on Haaland at the Etihad and a Saliba handball against Everton away. They’ve been favorable in the sense that we’ve had no major decisions go against us, so they’ve been good.

@_halfspaces Favorable? Just because they are not robbing us the way they did in 23/24 and 24/25? Come on man

Realistically Arsenal fans don’t seem to believe in our team to get it over the line ourselves, so they constantly beg for favors all the time from other teams and go after PGMOL and the refs, when a few minor decisions don’t go our way.

@TsikoGunner I don’t think they will because the refs have been quite favorable for us this season, but if it does then we will deal with it then. It’s not guaranteed that happens. And even then the decisions from that City game today were not THAT bad to warrant the outrage.

@TsikoGunner We were 9 points clear at one point and play bottom half sides in our next 3 games and if we win them all, we win the league, regardless of what City do. The only reason people are moaning about it, is most likely they don’t believe we can win the league ourselves without favors.

@_halfspaces When you are in a 2 horse race you’re competing with another team. How is it insignificant when the other team is getting decisions in the run in that may define the title? What kind of nonsense is this

@7_pistcs @BoxDefending @aliftbll2 Yeah I don’t blame you for that, I said we’d lose at the Etihad. But genuinely from this position, I don’t see how we can mess this up, especially with how Arteta has been moving the last 2 games and the way we’re playing right now.

@_halfspaces @BoxDefending @aliftbll2 I won’t believe in them fully until they actually get it over the line, when you’ve consistently fallen short for years I don’t think any fan can be blamed for feeling that way. Of course I will always support the lads but i’d be lying if I said i’m confident.

@returnsumtapes I’ve never ascribed to Arsenal fans doing that? I understand wanting your rivals to drop points, that’s normal. But the fall out in regards to the ref and PGMOL stuff I’m seeing is ridiculous. Why are we so insistent on everything being handed to us on a silver platter?

@_halfspaces You could argue that sure but it’s also something you’ve ascribed to them yourself? Fans seemed to have plenty of belief on Tuesday. I’m sorry but I don’t see how supporting City’s opponents is an expectation that other teams will do it for us, that’s just how a league works

@returnsumtapes How is it 'negativity' because I find our fans jarring? I'd argue it's more 'negative' to not believe in your team to do the job and expect everyone else to hand everything on a plate to you. Our fans do it so much and complain about EVERY small decision that doesn't go our way.
