Eid al-Fitr, March 30, 2025, in Gaza. Eidiya is what children wish for during Eid. It is money given by adults to children during the celebration of Eid. Israel killed this Palestinian man before he could give the money, and killed the child before receiving it.

Take your womenfolk to the Eid prayer. The Prophet ﷺ strongly encouraged this, to the extent that he instructed those women who were unable to pray to still attend.

Narrated by Umar ibn al-Khattab رضي الله عنه : Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) enjoined the payment of one Sa' of dates or one Sa' of barley as Zakat-ul-Fitr on every Muslim slave or free, male or female, young or old, and he ordered that it be paid before the people went out to offer the Id prayer. (One Sa' = 3 Kilograms approx.) [Sahih al-Bukhari 1503]

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله writes: “The pain of what has passed can not be removed by grieving over it, but only through: • Acceptance (being pleased with Allah’s Decree) • Gratitude (al-Hamd) • Patience (al-Sabr) • Faith in Predestination (al-Imaan bil-Qadr)

'Uthmān b. 'Affān رضي الله عنه said: "Nobody hides evil in those heart except that Allāh makes it appear on their face and tongue." {اداب الشريعة جلد رقم ١ صحفة٦١}

Hadith of the day: The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “There is no believing servant who supplicates for his brother in his absence, except that the Angels do not say: ‘The same be for you too’” Sahih Muslim 2732
