Can someone tell me why kids football runs alongside the general football season? Games get cancelled almost every weekend this time of year, development stunted and kids let down. They don’t need a summer break like the professionals. Baffles me.

@pnm1979 Wasn’t so much that he got shrugged off the ball for that goal, but he wanted all the glory. That was prime position for him to hold up the play and lay it off, get the team up the pitch. But instead his ego wanted to try and take on the whole Chelsea defence and lost the ball

Genuinely expected a reaction from Mateta today but he looked like he couldn’t give a shit. Missed the one on one and then got shrugged off the ball for the second. We looked better when he went off.
