@CBDevin95 Jock is the first that comes to mind, almost every mangaka uses a pseud, personally i use several bc it keeps the fanbase seperate, keeps myself safe, and allows me to seperate my career 9-5 from my art

Month to Month Hikaru no Go 😭
I lived by monthly shonen jump

I'm curious: what was your version of this? Your best month-to-month reading experience of a comic, that got you excited and talking to people about it? I saw someone mention Hox/Pox, I think Claremont's Uncanny probably? Anyone around for Alan Moore's Swamp Thing maybe?

Grant Morrison's Batman was probably the best month-to-month comics reading experience I ever had, maybe the last great one before I made the transition to professional/aspiring professional. Not only was every issue brilliant, but I would spend hours trying to decode, guess...
Dan Schkade@DanSchkade
It's hard to overstate how edge-of-your-seat thrilling Grant Morrison's Batman run was month to month. I once shelled out ten bucks for a textless variant of #676, very unusual for me, because my shop was out of all other copies and I PHYSICALLY NEEDED to know what happened next

@CrowSizna oh absoLUTELY. i useto be so sharp and have deep discussions, now I always forget vocabulary and have trouble articulating thoughts. It's hard to retain new information too. But i have found exercising to improve my brain. i think improving blood flow to the brain helps

@Calenthee Plz ignore the clickbait thumbnail :T i promise the interview feels more authentic than that

@Calenthee I really enjoy Diary of a CEO. He interviews scientists, university professors, entrepreneurs, CEO’s etc.
This is one of my favourite episodes where he interviews the worlds leading Sleep expert m.youtube.com/watch?v=Us8n8V…
You end up learning so much.
