@janetacarr Of course! We're in agreement. (: My point (and sorry if I was unclear) is merely that the automatic generation of CRUD, dashboards, admin, ACLs, etc... can all follow from a simple data specification, without the use of macros.

@_hrrld what I meant by “magic” was that defining an entity should produce it’s crud routes, admin panels, and all the busy work that usually goes into defining an entity It’s not just about the entity’s shape.

In my opinion, opinions are a feature not a bug when it comes to software frameworks and #Clojure in particular So I've got a 800 words of hot take, fresh off the keyboard, for all you Clojurians out there 👇 blog.janetacarr.com/clojure-framew…

@janetacarr Notably, the code is data without macros as well. ;) More importantly, the data is data (!) No need to do anything at compile time, or defer execution, so macros are not the right tool for the job of specifying entity shapes. A simple map will suffice.

@utabi What was the sound design of the distorted squelching sounds in the first section of Yorange Peel? Such amazing timbres. The more I listen the more I love them.

@peterhuntwelch I occasionally have this too, I’ve wondered if it comes along with long career of software estimation. I sometimes make oddly accurate estimates of times of arrival, too.

Anyone else haze a bizarrely accurate internal clock? Like if you’re told to check something in ten minutes, you can hit it within a few seconds without a clock or any other reference

Know coding? Is their anyone in the #mtbos that might be interested in a small-ish scale math/coding curriculum writing project? It would be paid work. #iteachmath

What are your favorite (slim & modern) wallets these days? I'm a huge fan of @Bellroy, but I'm curious to learn what else is there on the market.

@mindlabor_dev - Quadrata is great, got it tonight and played the first ~25 levels. Right up my alley and really well executed. I hope you make more games.
