Meeting of the committee constituted by CM Sindh regarding the way forward with regards to buildings declared to be dangerous was held today. Meeting was attended by representatives of Pakistan Engineering Council, Architects, ABAD and the administration. So far 31 buildings in the old city area declared to be dangerous have been evacuated & work still continues. Buildings which can be protected or strengthened and buildings which need to be demolished will be dealt with separately under the guidance of experts.

Happy to share the progress of Bolton Market parking facility of KMC. Work is nearing completion and should be opened up for public in the next few days inshallah. With this intervention, we will be able park more than 200 cars and 259 motorbikes at one time which will help us to keep the latter portion of MA Jinnah road clear for traffic movement #KarachiWorks

@MominISheikh Basically China, India, other partner nations prefer military, because of rapidly changing and sometimes incompetent civilian governments, which we get because military wants to keep US happy by remaining in charge and appointing a sham govt.

Can we normalise having womens sections and women communities in every mosque in pakistan like they do have in the west so we can hang out in a halal way, spend time and help each other grow in both life and deen?

Every time Mufti Tariq Masood appears on my timeline; he is saying something absurd & stupid about women. Today i saw a clip of him proudly saying he married off his child when she turned 13 that's beyond disturbing; it's completely outrageous

Boys coming from co-ed such as Cambridge boards have no problem mingling with the other gender as it is normal, but boys coming from Madrassahs or even only boys stream have major issues communication with girls later on.

@mi_tracker @_iabdllah @ShujaaAzmi The problem with that is Lust and curiosity has no control, Porn Addiction is on rise in kids from age 10 to 25. It doesn't take a day for today's kids to fell for each other. Go to any school where boys and girls study together and you will see lot of relationships these days

Lahore gets a new long-distance running track at CBD, spanning a one-way distance of over 4.5 km. Such tracks and facilities are needed in other cities as well, particularly in Karachi. Cc: @murtazawahab1

@aliktareen This is how FBR/State is gonna see this: 1. Make it EXTREMELY inconvenient for poor to not be a filer. 2. Tax the cadbury chocolate and any internet connection above 10mbps as all of these are too much for an avg person.

If Pakistan is serious about increasing tax revenue, we need to: 1. Drastically expand the tax base. Make it seamless (digitally) to become a filer. And EXTREMELY inconvenient not to be one. Make it painful. 2. Tax the rich hard. Not just income. Tax luxury. Tax lifestyle. 300% plus. No apologies. No compromise. If someone owns a 2 kanal+ plot and eats imported chocolates/snacks, they should be paying a HUGE amount of tax. If you’re rich in a poor country, you need to step up.

@ZulfiqarAhmed69 Yes, MIT has also conducted a short 6 months research into this topic. Using AI is declining our cognitive abilities, especially creativity, which I also feel and intentionally avoid using AI to respond. Only use AI to learn.

I have been using AI for writing emails, presentations, essays etc for over a year now and I have started to feel that I am loosing my writing skills and critical thinking. Wonder if anyone felt the same.

@YousafSaeedPTI I have no opinion on whether tourists should follow the local culture or not but why is the 'culture' only to be followed by women and what if the culture doesn't make common sense, which many of ours don't? We all know men can dance here freely and dive half naked.
