You can trace a lot of people’s tendency to hold grudges or “keep malice” back to difficult childhoods. The ones that are constantly angry and give silent treatments too. Some people don’t even know what healthy conversations or repair looks like.

Yes agreed, I also don’t think someone sharing their experience of racism about being called the N word is also the right time to comment that it’s a word that does not move you.

Anybody can turn to religion if they so please. So long as you are not insufferably trying to push your new found or renewed faith on everyone and you remain respectful, it shouldn’t be an issue. Some people need religion to be good or to be grounded,it is what it is.

Because a LOT of them never wanted to be parents, they just see it as a societal expectation to fulfill. If you asked any one of them why they became parents you might never get a reasonable response.
