I just want to try and understand these people who keep mentioning the years she's been with them. That's exactly the point, you feel you've given her 5 years of your life, she has also done the same.
She does way more than other idols, she's moved out of her comfort zone to always try and make fans happy. Despite any illness, despite even a surgery, she works so hard to always be present for fans and not disappoint them. Even when she's in pain and suffering from exhaustion and thousands of people are still criticizing her or even threatening her to her face, or endangering her life, she puts on a happy smile for you. Because she was always happy to see you being there with her.
She always tried her best to show her appreciation for fans, going far and beyond what most idols do. Doing 2-3 hours of going live to sing for fans nonstop outside of her schedule and especially after being exhausted from work, writing handwritten letters to show her appreciation, always assuring fans and giving updates, to become the member who's the most active at conversing with fans. Always trying her best to grant fans' requests, taking action when fans are uncomfortable and have issues that she takes up with the company on her own to make them happy. She's always sharing and being appreciative of every single thing the fans do for her no matter how big or small.
I have been a kpop fan for over 20 years and I have never stanned an idol as dedicated as she is to her fans. To see people who claim to love and support her turn their backs on her and forget everything she's done over something they don't have all the facts for yet is truly heartbreaking. And one day if she does make a mistake (and she hasn't yet), can that not be outweighed by her dedication to fans these past 5 years?
She hasn't given me reasons to be disappointed yet in the last 5 years, so until then, I will give her the respect a person should have for all the happiness she's given me.
